We are a growing team based in Coimbra. The platform runs mission-critical operations under contractual SLAs: real stores, real warehouses, real devices moving through it every day.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead for Platform & Delivery Engineering — technical owner of the current LoopOS platform (about 15 repositories, Rails and React, Kubernetes/AWS) and the person who leads its evolution into agentic engineering.

This is not a people-management role: about 60% of your time is in code and infrastructure. The team — 4 engineers and 2 delivery/business analysts — keeps its current reporting lines. You own technical direction and the way we work, partnering directly with the CTO.

Technical Requirements

• Senior experience owning production platforms end-to-end: architecture, infrastructure and reliability.
• Strong on Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure-as-code and observability.
• Comfortable across Rails/React or a comparable full-stack estate.
• Already AI-native: agentic coding tools are part of daily work.
• Accountable for SLAs, availability and performance.
• Stack: Ruby on Rails, React, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, Datadog, Sentry.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the platform end-to-end: architecture, production infrastructure, environments, observability, documentation and release cycles.
• Operate it reliably for enterprise clients with contractual SLAs.
• Ship functionality when needed; manage bugs and release cycles.
• Pair with delivery to bring new clients live, and make each implementation faster than the last.
• Lead the agentic transformation across development, SRE, support and implementation.
• Be the technical voice with clients in implementation and pre-sales.

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior engineer who has owned production platforms end-to-end.
• Clear communicator in English; comfortable in technical client conversations. Portuguese is a plus.
• Bonus: ERP / retail / logistics, multi-tenant SaaS, or client-specific release management.
• Structured thinker: you bring clarity before execution.
• Pragmatic change leader: you bring the team along by shipping improvements they feel.
• Autonomous: you own the technical direction without needing to manage people.
• AI-enabled: opinions from practice, not from posts.
