LoopOS is the ERP for circularity — trade-in, returns, refurbishment, logistics and resale for leading European retailers, in one connected platform. With LoopOS Flux, we are building the next generation of the product from scratch, AI-native.

We are a growing team based in Coimbra. The platform runs mission-critical operations under contractual SLAs: real stores, real warehouses, real devices moving through it every day.

About the Role

We are looking for an AI-Native Product Engineer to join a small, high-trust team of four Product Engineers and the CTO, supported by shared QA, UX/UI Engineering and a Product Owner.

This is a product-first engineering role. You own a product area in LoopOS Flux end-to-end — from understanding client needs to shipping and improving the solution in production. You combine business analysis, product ownership and hands-on engineering, and use AI-native workflows to move faster.

Technical Requirements

• Strong full-stack capability across backend and frontend; Rails experience is useful, not required.
• Comfortable designing APIs, business logic and systems that stay maintainable.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React or similar).
• AI-assisted development already part of your daily workflow (Cursor, Claude Code or similar).
• Pragmatic about testing, quality and shipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a product area in LoopOS Flux from problem to production.
• Work directly with clients and turn business problems into product decisions.
• Design the approach before writing code; prototype quickly when it helps.
• Use AI-native workflows to accelerate delivery without losing engineering judgement.
• Collaborate with Product Engineers, the CTO, QA, UX/UI Engineering and the Product Owner.

Required Skills & Experience

• Track record of shipping product features in real environments.
• Able to work across backend and frontend with confidence.
• Evidence of what you have built matters more than years of experience — mid, senior and exceptional AI-native juniors are welcome.
• Fluent English; clear communicator with clients and teammates.
• Product-minded: you care about solving the right problem, not just building what was asked.
• Autonomous and accountable: you own outcomes, and know when to ask for help.
• Pragmatic: you know when to move fast and when to invest in foundations.
• AI-enabled: agentic tools are already how you work.
