About the Role
We’re building the infrastructure for circular commerce — and we’re looking for an Operations Manager to help us bring one of our flagship projects in the insurance sector to life.
This role will lead the operational rollout of a large-scale initiative focused on giving a second life to products through refurbishment, resale, recycling, and donation — right here in Coimbra.
You’ll act as the Project Manager for this operation, owning and executing all on-the-ground workflows and partnerships:
Key Responsabilities
1. Refurbishment & Recovery Coordination
- Identify, onboard, and manage partners for refurbishing, buying, recycling, and donating used goods (mainly electronics and appliances).
2. Reverse Logistics Management
- Coordinate transporters and logistics partners to ensure goods are collected, transferred, and delivered efficiently and sustainably.
3. Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with internal LoopOS teams and external partners to align expectations and ensure smooth execution.
4. Quality & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure refurbishing and recycling processes follow required standards and that documentation flows seamlessly through the LoopOS platform.
5. Operational Monitoring & Reporting
- Track KPIs and continuously improve flows based on platform insights and partner feedback.
Required Skills & Experience
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are essential for this role. This is an on-site role based in Coimbra, and requires frequent travel between our Operations Center (in Eiras) and our main office (in Downtown Coimbra).
- Experience in operations, project management, logistics, or supply chain.
- Bonus points for background in refurbishment, recycling, or electronics resale.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Fluency in Portuguese and professional English.
